Phoenix, AZ (7/25/18) – Firefighters are working to contain the Bruno Fire that is threatening a ranch, and at one point, multiple communication towers in southern Cochise County.
Closures and some fire restrictions lifted on state-owned and managed lands in Arizona - as of Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
Due to the recent rains, the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire will lift some area closures and fire restrictions on state-owned and managed lands.
As of 0800, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, both Coconino and Mohave Counties, north of the Grand Canyon, will be placed into Stage II Fire Restrictions. That level of restriction is more stringent than Stage I and equate to no campfires, no smoking, and no open flame of any sort.
Phoenix, AZ (7/2/18) - As we inch closer to the 4th of July holiday, the Department of Forestry and Fire Management wants to remind the public that the fire danger remains extremely high and dry conditions persist across the state.
