FOREST HEALTH

The Forestry Division's Forest Health Specialist conducts surveys, evaluations, and monitors forest insects and diseases. The Division provides technical advice and training in the use of integrated forest management practices to help professional foresters and landowners restore the health of their forests. We provide advice and support for projects, and to prevent insect and disease outbreaks. We direct and implement measures to prevent, retard, or suppress nonnative invasive insects, pathogens, and plants detrimentally affecting the health of Arizona forests.
