Due to interest by many Arizona Communities in the
Assessment and Planning Process the Forestry Division
has implemented a policy to outline required qualifications
for Advisors and Assessors working with communities
interested in becoming recognized Firewise Communities.

Forestry Division personnel will facilitate and assist
interested individuals in achieving the required fire
observation experience and qualification. This program
is limited to persons from cooperating agencies, fire
departments, consulting foresters, and community
Firewise boards.

Please click HERE to review class availability for the required training.

Please click on this LINK to read the policy and training requirements.
